About the Foundation
The Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organization, whose purpose is to provide extended financial support to Saint Cassian School. Our goal is to provide the additional funds that may be needed to help ensure a superior educational experience at Saint Cassian School while supporting a Catholic school education within our Parish. The Foundation is an exempt charitable organization under section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
How it Works
The Foundation raises money primarily through an annual appeal to the parish, school and alumni communities. The Board of Trustees meets a minimum of four times a year to discuss and agree on how funds generated will be directed to St. Cassian School. Recent grants have gone to support technology advancements, staff / student development and enrichment projects. The Foundation also manages an endowment established by its original members. The interest and dividends generated cover all Foundation expenses and additional funds for grants.
100% of every dollar raised from member contributions and matching funds,
goes directly to support the students of St. Cassian School.
The Foundation, since its inception more than 30 years ago, has provided grants totaling over half-a-million dollars. These grants provided a variety of needs for St. Cassian School; from state-of-the-art technology to music instruction, making learning more effective and fun.

We are grateful to our members and all who have supported the Foundation and urge you to join them with your contribution. A minimum donation of $25 qualifies you for membership, with additional giving categories for larger donations.
